Salisbury: Sea-Doo races are the highlight of the Sand & Sea Festival at Salisbury Beach, a family event celebrating the recreational uses of Salisbury Beach. Nearly 100 top riders and race teams are expected to compete in The Toyota/Sea-Doo United States Regional Championship Races, held June 30 and July 1, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. each day. Racers compete in 11 different classes and approximately 20 race events throughout the day. Local competitors may participate. Register at uwpinc.com. Also, live music on a beachfront stage, street performers, carnival-style games for children, marine aquatic programs, a beach volleyball tournament, kayaking, surfing, and kite-flying lessons and demonstrations on the beach, and a fireworks display.
